Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center

The Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center is located in Rokach Boulevard in northern Tel Aviv, Israel, adjacent to the Tel Aviv University train station. Established in 1932, it hosts up to 2 million visitors and between 45 to 60 major events annually. It has 10 different halls and showrooms and a large outdoor space.

History

It was first established in 1932 near the Tel Aviv Port and only in 1959 moved near Tel Aviv University beside the Yarkon Park.

Entertainment

In recent years, the center has been used for many musical concerts and shows. To date, the convention center has hosted such musicians as Iggy Pop, Placebo, Dream Theater, Lady Gaga, Kaiser Chiefs, Simple Plan, Tokio Hotel, Faith No More, MGMT, Dinosaur Jr., LCD Soundsystem, The Drums, Pil, Missy Elliot, David Guetta, and Balkan Beat Box, among others. It also host the annual Pic.Nic Festival with it's various artists performances.

In 2011, the center will host Megadeth, Moby, Interpol, Mark Ronson, Suede, Blonde Redhead, Jane's Addiction, Roxette, and again Dream Theater.
